What is the Tangerine Machine?

Discover the Tangerine...

The Tangerine is Tonic’s own premium die-cutting machine, and its A4 size means it works perfectly with all of our dies.

Durable and long-lasting, the bold outer shell encases the internal components, which are all made of metal to avoid any wear and tear. We aim to give the best possible cut by using equal pressure across the roller, ensuring there won’t be any weak points.

In this set, you don't have to worry about buying additional plates or mats; the Tangerine Machine comes with everything you need, so you are ready to start crafting when you receive your machine.

Weighing in at just under 9kg, the Tangerine is a strong, stand-out addition to your craft table.

Each Tangerine comes with: a handle, a set of instructions on plate combinations, raspberry coloured embossing folder plate, green coloured die embossing plate, white coloured top plate and an orange coloured die cutting plate.

Get cutting like a pro!

Plates

Place your Tangerine on a clear flat surface allowing ample space for your layer plates to feed through uninterrupted.

It is important that the plates are used in the correct order. Using the wrong combination may result in damaging your machine or not creating the desired effect. The plates are colour coded for ease of use.

Plate Combinations

Your choice of card
(for best results use 240gsm)

Tip

Some intricate dies may not cut in one pass. If necessary rotate your die and card 90° and cut again. Additionally, embossing your die cut shapes can aid stubborn cuts.

Note: Embossing folders differ in design complexity and plate thickness. Sometimes experimentation is required but you should never force a stiff plate combination through your Tangerine! If your embossing folder combination is breaking your card consider using the green plate to replace the white top plate. If the embossed result is weak consider using the green plate and mat to replace the white top plate.
