How to make a card looks incredibly Delicious with Stamp Club

This month’s Stamp Club is perfect for all the ice cream fanatics you know :D It’s a fantastically versatile set of stamps and dies which enables you to create entirely die-cut cards too despite it being a stamp club, so I thought I’d show you a completely die-cut card for today’s blog post

Step 1

Die-cut all your elements from white card, I used all the pieces above, plus I added the wafer later on too :D I like to cut everything from white and use my Nuvo Alcohol pens to add colour, but equally you can cut everything from coloured card too

Step 2

Add colour to your die-cuts, I decided to go for some Neapolitan ice cream, so I coloured one pink, one cream and one brown for chocolate :D And I also used the stamp as a guide to help me add my own detail in with the pens

Step 3

I then coloured the 3 sauces in corresponding colours too, however, I think these would look fab cut from a specialty Craft Perfect cardstock too

Step 4

Next I coloured the dish, I used the lightest blue and grey from the Nuvo Alcohol pen range, and tried to make it look as though it was white ceramic

Step 5

So now we have all our coloured elements

Step 6

we can have a dry run for the layout of the banana split, this also helps me decide what colour I want to colour my die-cut sentiment

Step 7

and I decided on red to balance the cherry

Step 8

As an extra step I wanted to make the cherry and the sauce look shiny, so I took my Nuvo Clear Mark ink pad and my Nuvo Clear embossing powder

Step 9

and all you do is squish the ink pad onto your coloured elements (or you can do this with coloured card pieces too), add your clear powder, and heat set :D For a smoother look you can add 2-3 layers of clear embossing if you want

Step 10

I then arranged all the elements again and secured them with foam tape so they were one whole topper, and hovered it above my card panel to get it in the centre

Step 11

And for the finishing touches I added that red sentiment, and a scattering of sequins

I hope you enjoyed this totally die-cut banana split card using this months Delicious Desserts Stamp Club :D Christine
